c) Replacing the linkage rods
When replacing the linkage rods (1), exercise utmost care
and use suitable tools such as needle-nose pliers and
tweezers.
The linkage rods are only clipped on and can be carefully
removed or levered off the joint balls (2).
Carefully press the linkage rod onto the ball and make
sure that the parts are not damaged. The new linkage rod
must be able to move easily on the ball without play.

21. Disposal

a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household waste. At the end of its
service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries. Dis-
posing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the domes-
tic waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for heavy metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to local collection points, our stores or battery retailers. You thus fulfil your statutory
obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
Exposed contacts of batteries/rechargeable batteries must be covered with a piece of adhesive tape to prevent short
circuits.
