USING THE APPLIANCE
3.1
First use of the appliance
− Respect the time stated on the installation sticker prior
to first use. The adhesives used for the installation
of the unit require 48h to fully cure.
− Remove all labels and stickers from the glass.
− Always polish the worktop before using the hob for the
first time. Consult the documents of the manufacturer
of the worktop on how to clean the worktop for the
first time.
3.2
Precautions against damage
− Always lift the cookware when moving it to avoid
scratching the centerpoints to the extent possible.
Although scratches may appear during use, this does
not affect the operation of the appliance.
− Damaged cooking pots or cooking pots with rough
bottoms (non-enamelled cast iron) can damage the
worktop, centerpoints and/or indicator LEDs.
− The presence of sand or other abrasive materials can
damage the worktop, centerpoints and/or indicator
LEDs.
− Consult the documents of the manufacturer of the
worktop for more information on avoiding damage
to the worktop.
− Do not drop objects (even small ones) onto the
worktop, centerpoints and/or indicator LEDs.
− Avoid bumping cooking pots and pans against the
edge of the worktop and/or centerpoints.
− Do not place or leave empty cooking pots or pans
on the centerpoints when the hob is in use.
− To protect the worktop, do not place hot cookware
within 5 cm of the edges, joints or recesses of the
worktop.
− Do not place pots or pans on the Touch control and/
or indicator LEDs in the worktop. This may cause
the system to malfunction.
− Do not place magnetic and/or metal-sensitive objects
such as credit cards, smartphones, tablets, knives,
forks, spoons, lids, etc on top of the induction zones.
These objects can become hot, which can lead to
dangerous situations.
