7.1
Messages on the Novy controller
7.1.1 Warnings and errors
A warning does not indicate a defective appliance, but
it may affect its operation. It always indicates a built-in
protection action. Warnings are always indicated by
this symbol:
The induction system includes built-in temperature
protection to protect the worktop. If the temperature
rises too long and/or too high, the corresponding
zone is automatically switched off. The zone can be
used again after cooling down sufficiently. Remove
the pot or pan from the zone to speed up cooling.
Allow the cooking zone to cool by itself. Do not use
ice cubes, gel packs, cold water or other means to
speed up cooling. When the temperature protection of
a cooking zone is activated, the other cooking zones
can still be used.
An error message indicates a possible malfunction
of the appliance.
Errors are always indicated by this symbol:
occurs, contact our repair service.
The hob or the cooking zone does not work:
− the hob has been poorly connected to the electrical
power supply.
− the safety fuse has blown.
− check the locking key has been enabled.
− the touch control keys have been splashed with
water or fat.
− there is an object on the touch control keys.
