5.2.2 Pan detection
The cooking zone that has been switched on is only
active when a cooking pan is detected by the pan
detection system.
When you place a pan on the hob, it is automatically
detected. The detected zone is indicated by a bright
white LED by the indicator LEDs on the worktop. In
addition, a '0' will be shown on the controller for the
corresponding zone.
The pan detection function ensures optimum safety.
The induction hob does not work:
− If there is no pan on the cooking zone or if the pan is
unsuitable for induction. In this case, it is impossible
to put the power on. The symbol
display.
− The operation is suspended when the pan is removed
from the cooking zone during cooking. The symbol
flashes on the display.
