3. General description
3.1. Utilization
Submersion motor pumps of the TGR series are used to
promote sewage and wastewater as well as sludges and
surface water.
The pumps are not suitable for conveying mediums with
strongly abrasive components (e.g. sand, gravel, stones).
Use in slurp mode is not permitted. The minimal lev-
el of the promoting medium must always be above
the upper edge of the pump casing, depending on the
type of installation.
The temperature of the pumped medium may be up to
40°C. The maximum density of the pumped medium is
1100 kg/m³ and the pH value may be 6 to 11.
3.2. Type of application
The pumps are designed for a submerged motor for oper-
ating mode S1 (continuous operation).
For a surfaced motor, the pumps are designed for opera-
tion modes S2 (short-term operation) or S3 (intermittent
operation). Please refer to the exact data in the table in
Section 3.3.2 Motor.
3.3. Structure
The submersible aggregate consists of the motor, the
pump casing and the suitable impeller. All important parts
are of generous dimension.
