Options - Backrests
To adjust the back angle, please undo the hexagon head
bolt (1) and remove it. Set the desired position and then
refit the screw in this position and tighten it to the given
torque. (Fig. 32).
Folding backrest
To make it easier to transport the wheelchair, the top half
of the backrest can folded down.
To do this, press both levers (1) and fold the backrest
down. When folding the backrest back up, please make
sure that both sides are firmly interlocked (Fig. 33/34)
Adjustable back sling
The adjustable back sling can be adjusted for tension by
using several straps, (Fig.35).
Height Adjustable backrest
The backrest may be set to various back heights, in 2.5
cm steps, (3 adjustment ranges, 25-30cm, 30-40cm,40-
45cm).
Release the screw (1) and set the backrest to the desired
height, then tighten the screws again, (see the page on
torque).
CAUTION!
Please take into account the altered centre of gravity
when setting the angle of the backrest.
