8. | Configuring the mega macs X
1. Use
to select > Settings > Print.
2. Open the drop-down list under Interface with

4. Click to >Search for a printer<.
ð The diagnostic device searches for available printers.
5. Selected the requested printer.
ð The selection will be saved automatically.
ð Now you can start printing via PC.
8.10.2. Add printer
NOTICE
This selection requires professional knowledge about PC systems must be configured exclusively by an IT
system administrator.
Use the menu >Add printer< to configure the printer interfaces manually.
It is possible to connect to the USB ports of the mega macs X any printer that supports at least the printer language PCL5
or higher and that has a USB port. In order to ensure trouble-free support through the Technical Help Line, we recom-
mend using a printer of Hella Gutmann.
Proceed as follows to add a printer:
1. Use
to select > Settings > Print.
2. Click to >Add printer<.
3. Now you can enter e.g. Printer name, Printer path and Manufacturer manually.
4. Confirm the selection with >Add printer<.
ð The selection will be saved automatically.
8.10.3. Printing Out a Test Page
Here you can print out a test page.
Proceed as follows to print out a test page:
1. Use
to select > Settings > Print.
2. Click to >Print a test page<.
ð Print data are being prepared.
ð A test page will be printed out by the printer set previously.
