Recording video or TV
programmes
When you have finished dubbing a
tape
Press
on the LCD screen to stop recording
on your camcorder and stop playback on VCR or
TV.
Using the Remote Commander
You don't need to perform step 3.
In step 5, press both z REC and the right button
simultaneously to start recording.
Note
Your camcorder only records pictures for
viewing on a PAL system based TV and VCR.

for the TV colour systems used in each country
and area.
If your VCR is a monaural type
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video output jack and the white or
the red plug to the audio output jack on the VCR
or the TV. When the white plug is connected, the
left channel audio is output, and when the red
plug is connected, the right channel audio is
output.
If your TV or VCR has an S video jack
Connect using the S video plug to faithfully
obtain original pictures. With this connection,
you do not need to connect the yellow (video)
plug of the A/V connecting cable. Connect the S
video plug to the S video jack of the VCR. This
connection produces higher quality MICROMV
format pictures.

Na afloop van het opnemen of
kopiëren van video-opnamen
Druk op de
opnemen op uw camcorder te stoppen en stop
daarna de weergave van uw videorecorder of uw
TV-toestel.
Kopiëren met behulp van de
afstandsbediening
Hierbij kunt u stap 3 achterwege laten.
Druk in stap 5 de z REC opnametoets en de toets
rechts ervan tegelijk in om met opnemen te
beginnen.

Opmerking
De met uw camcorder opgenomen beelden zijn
alleen weer te geven met een voor het PAL-
systeem geschikte videorecorder en idem TV-
toestel. Zie het overzicht op blz. 270 onder
"Gebruik van uw camcorder in het buitenland"
om te zien welk TV-kleursysteem gebruikt wordt
in welk land of streek.
Als uw videorecorder slechts geschikt is voor
mono geluid
Sluit de gele stekker van het audio/video-
aansluitsnoer aan op de video-uitgang en de
witte of de rode stekker op de audio-
uitgangsaansluiting van uw TV-toestel of
videorecorder. Als u de witte stekker aansluit, zal
het geluid van het linker kanaal worden
uitgestuurd en als u de rode stekker aansluit,
wordt het geluid van het rechter kanaal
uitgestuurd.
Als uw videorecorder een S-video aansluiting
biedt
Dan kunt u de apparatuur aansluiten met de S-
videostekker aan het aansluitsnoer, voor de beste
beeldkwaliteit. Bij deze wijze van aansluiten
hoeft u de gele (video) stekker van het audio/
video-aansluitsnoer niet aan te sluiten. Verbind
de S-video aansluitstekker met de S-video
aansluiting van uw weergave-videorecorder.
Door deze wijze van aansluiten zult u betere
MICROMV-kwaliteit videobeelden kunnen
weergeven.
