Stopping
Warning! Blade continues to ro-
tate after the machine has been
switched off. Wait until all components
have come to a complete stop, before touch-
ing them.
1. Release the throttle interlock 2 and throttle
trigger 5.
2. When the engine operates idle, set the ig-
nition switch 3 to
gine.
Cutting Means
For best cutting performance, ensure that the
cutting means are sharp and not worn out.
Replace worn or damaged cutting means with
new ones of the same type.
Warning! Make sure the machine is
switched off, has completely cooled
down and the spark plug connector is re-
moved.
Always wear safety glasses and gloves to pro-
tect your eyes and hands while working on the
cutting means of the machine [e.g. switching
from brushcutting to trimming or vice versa].
Warning! Do not remove any ob-
struction of the cutting means by
hand. Use a proper tool ,e.g. a wooden
stick, to clear the cutting means.

Spark Plug
Inspect the spark plug at least every 25 h of
use. Clean or replace it with a new one if nec-
essary (TORCH L8RTC):
1. Pull the spark plug connector 17 from the

The carburettor and silencer are adjusted by
the manufacturer. If changes are necessary,
please contact your Hornbach store for assis-
tance. Do not attempt to make adjustments by
