BRUSHCUTTING

Remove the three guard screws and
attach the brushcutting guard 15 using
the three screws.
Warning! Make sure that the guard
is facing towards the user.

Attach the upper disc and install the
nut.
Caution! Make sure that the upper
discs pins are matching the groves
in the lower disc.
TRIMMING

Attach the trimming guard 13 to the
brushcutting guard 15 using its three
screws and install the lower disc.
HARNESS

Put the harness over your left shoulder
and adjust its length, so that the cara-
biner is on your right hip at belt height.
Attach the harness to the harness con-
nector 23 of the machine.
CHOKE LEVER

Set the choke lever to COLD START .
or WARM START
See section 'Starting' for further infor-
mation.

Warning! Observe the correct rota-
tion direction of the brushcutting
Insert the spindle lock rod into the hole
to lock the spindle and tighten the nut
using the wrench tool. Lastly install the
safety splint.
Insert the spindle lock rod into the hole
to lock the spindle and screw the trim-
mer head on to the lower disc.
Warning! Never operate the ma-
chine without the harness.
Warning! In case of emergency, pull
the red band to immediately release
FUEL PUMP
If a cold start is necessary, press the
fuel pump several times to pump fuel
from the fuel tank into the engine.
See paragraph 'Cold Start' in 'Starting'
section for further information.
