h) Stop using the machine while people,

i) Only use the machine in daylight or
good artificial light.
j) Stop the engine before cleaning or
when cleaning blockage.
k) Stop the engine before checking, carry-
ing out maintenance or working on the
machine.
l) Stop the engine before adjusting the
working position of the cutting device.
m) Stop the engine before leaving the ma-
chine unattended.
n) Ensure that the machine is correctly lo-
cated in a designated working position
before starting the engine.
o) While operating the machine, always
ensure that the operating position is
safe and secure.
p) Do not operate the machine with a dam-
aged, cracked or excessively worn cut-
ting blade. Never use metal multi-piece
pivoting chains and flail blades.
q) To reduce fire hazards, keep the engine
and silencer free of debris, leaves and
excessive lubricant.
r) Always ensure that all handles and
guards are fitted when using the ma-
chine. Never attempt to use an incom-
plete machine or one fitted with an un-
authorised modification.
s) Always use two hands to operate an
machine with two handles.
t) Always be aware of your surroundings
and stay alert for possible hazards of
which you may not be aware due to the
noise of the machine.
u) Take care against injury from any de-
vice fitted for trimming the filament line
length. After extending new cutter line
always return the machine to its normal
operating position before switching on.

v) Always ensure that ventilation open-
ings are kept clear of debris.
4) MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
a) When the machine is stopped for ser-
vicing, inspection or storage, shut off
the engine, disconnect the spark plug
wire from the spark plug and make sure
all moving parts have come to a com-
plete stop. Allow the machine to cool
before making any inspections, adjust-
ments, etc.
b) Store the machine where the fuel va-
pour will not reach an open flame or
spark. Always allow the machine to
cool down before storing.
c) When not in use store the machine out
of the reach of children.
d) Use only manufacturers recommended
replacement parts and accessories.
e) When transporting or storing the ma-
chine, always fit the cutting device
transport guard.
f) During transport take care not to loose
fuel.
g) Store the product in a dry, clean place
protected from direct sunlight and only
after the fuel tank has been emptied
and the machine is cleaned. The ma-
chine must be stored inside only under
these conditions.
5) FUEL HANDLING
a) Follow the maintenance and repair in-
structions for this machine. Never carry
out any modifications of the machine.
Never change the preset rotary speed or
the engine and machine settings. Infor-
mation about maintenance and repair is
provided in this user manual.
b) Never touch the machine, you can burn
yourself. While the machine is in opera-
tion or shortly thereafter, its parts such
as the exhaust pipe, engine and other
surfaces are extremely hot! Pay atten-
tion to the markings on the machine.
c) Make sure the air vents of the combus-
tion engine is clear. Keep the air intake
free of dust, dirt particles, gases and
