3.7 SUMP TANK
The sump tank is designed for pressure-free operation. Wastewater is collected there at atmospheric pressure before
being discharged to the sewer. The ventilation duct allows the tank to always remain at atmospheric pressure.
3.8 NOISE LEVEL
The noise level depends on the fitting conditions and operating point.
This sound pressure level Lp is less than 70 dB (A).
4. PREPARATION OF THE TANK
The tank is delivered with hydraulic pipes mounted inside. When preparing the tank, check their presence.
The pump is delivered separately and must be installed inside the tank.
4.1 PREPARATION FOR THE WATER INLET PIPE (SANIFOS® 280, SANIFOS® 610, SANIFOS® 1300)
Sanifos® 280, Sanifos® 610 and Sanifos® 1300 have several drilling zones to install the water supply pipe at the desired
height. Two diameters are possible for Sanifos® 280 and Sanifos® 610: 50 mm or 100 mm. Diameter 160 mm is possible for
Sanifos® 1300.
Wall thickness: 3-8 mm
4.2 INSTALLATION OF THE PUMP IN THE TANK
4.2.1 Sanifos® 110
• Connect the pipeline to the pump (delivered separately).
• Once the connections have been made, lower the submersible pump and its piping inside the tank and reconnect the
pipe.
4.2.2 Sanifos® 280
• Connect the pipeline to the pump (delivered separately).
• Depending on the model : attach the chain to the pump and connect to the top of the tank using the hook provided for
this purpose (useful during maintenance of the device).
• Once the connections have been made, lower the submersible pumpand its piping inside the tank and reconnect the
pipes.

Mark the intended location of the pipe on the tank with a
marker.
• Drill with a hole saw with a diameter of:
– 57 mm for a 50 mm pipe,
– 108 mm for a 100 mm pipe
– or 168 mm for a 160 mm pipe.
• Place the seal DN 50 for a 50 mm pipe, DN 100 for a
100 mm pipe, DN 160 for a 160 mm pipe.
