Motors (Every month)
Inspect the motors in the rear wheels for visible cracks or deformations, check if the wheels can
rotate freely and check for increased noise during use. Verify that the nuts and other fasteners
that attach the motors to the frame are tightened properly and have no slack. Do not use
the Rollz Motion Electric if any of these issues have been noticed. Contact the supplier or an
authorised Rollz distributor.
Push support controller and joystick controller
(Every 3 months)
Clean the controller and joystick with a cloth dampened with a neutral diluted cleaner carefully.
Never use abrasive materials or alcoholic detergents for cleaning. Protect the controllers from
damage during transportation of the wheelchair. Always prevent liquids ingress in openings of
the controllers.
Washing the seat cover
The cover of the seat cushion is washable. Always remove the inner cushion before
washing.
a. Pull the Velcro on the cover of the cushion off from the seat (Figure 69).
b. Unzip the cover and remove the inner cushion.
c. The cover is now ready for washing in the washing machine at a maximum
temperature of 30 °C / 86 °F.
d. Simply dry the cover in the air, not in the dryer.
e. Put the inner cushion back in the cover and zip up the seat.
f. Place the cushion back on the seat.
