Malfunctions and troubleshooting

Display of error and warning messages
The red LED in the operator cover helps to easily identify
causes when operation does not go according to plan. This
LED is continuously illuminated in normal operation.
NOTE:
If normal operation of the garage door operator with the radio
receiver or the T button is otherwise possible, the following
can be recognised through the behaviour described here:
•
A short circuit in the external button
•
A short circuit in the connection cable of the external
button

Cause
The connected photocell has been
interrupted or actuated. Possibly, a safety
reversal has taken place.
Remedy
Remove the triggering obstacle.

Check photocell, replace if

necessary.

If the door system is in the Open
end-of-travel position, the door
closes.
Otherwise the door opens.

Cause
The Close power limit has been
activated. The safety reversal has taken
place.
Remedy
Remove the triggering obstacle.

apparent reason:
Check the door mechanics or the

tension of the toothed belt.

The door system has stopped in the door
Open direction.
Remedy
Remove the triggering obstacle.

If the door system stopped before the
Open end-of-travel position without a
discernible reason:
Check the door mechanics or the

tension of the toothed belt.

Delete the door data if required
(see section 11.2). Then teach in
the door system again (see
section 5.1).
Or
–
Readjust the tension of the
toothed belt (see section 9.1).

Remedy

Note
Normal behaviour following a power
failure, if
•
no door data is available,
•
the door data has been deleted,
•
the last door position is not known.
