The purpose of this manual is to provide necessary information for product installation, operation and maintenance.
CAUTION: Read this manual carefully before installing, using or servicing this product. Failure to follow the
instructions within this manual could result in explosion, property damage, severe personal injury and/or death.
WARNING: This pump is designed for use with fresh water ONLY. Use with any other fluid could result in damage
to the pump and the surrounding environment, possible exposure to hazardous substances and injury.
WARNING: Do not use pump if it presents some damage such as burned or broken pressure switch, broken port
clips, exposed electrical wire and/or contacts.
EXPLOSION HAZARD: Do not use motor pump units for pumping gasoline or other flammable liquids with
flash point below 100ºF (37.8ºC). Doing so may result in explosion which could cause personal injury, death or
property damage.
CAUTION: Disconnect power from the system before working on the unit to avoid personal injury, damage to the
surrounding environment and/or damage to the unit.
CAUTION: Always install proper fuse size to prevent damage to product should a short occur. Failure to install
proper fuse could increase risk of pump malfunction, potentially resulting in personal injury and/or fire hazard. The
product label outlines the proper fuse size for your model.
CAUTION: Electrical wiring should be performed by a qualified and competent electrician, in accordance with
all local and national electrical codes.
CAUTION: This pump has an integrated pressure switch. When connected to power, it can start automatically
without warning if the pressure switch senses pressure below that of switch shut-off.

Installation
Mounting the Pump
Using the rubber dampening feet, bolt or screw the pump to a solid surface in a dry area with adequate ventilation and easy access for
cleaning, maintenance, and service. For best performance mount within 6 ft (1.8m) of the water tank. Mount the pump horizontally, or if
vertically, with the pumphead facing down. The pump is not submersible.
