WARNING!
Always cut making the chain (1) run at maximum speed.

Never cut with the upper part of the bar tip (2).
•
Start cutting making the chain run at full speed and keeping the bar (2) vertical.
•
Hook the tip of the bumper (22) and use it as a fulcrum.
Never cut trunks which are wider than the bar (2) maximum length.

Use the tool only for the purposes described in par. "Product description". Any other use could cause inju-

Operate the tool only when it is inserted among the branches. Any improper use causes greater tool wear
and battery (16) consumption.
WARNING!
Before starting to cut:
•
Make the chain (1) run at half speed for several minutes to make the oil reach all parts of the bar (2) and
chain (1).
•
Switch off the tool and check the chain tension.
Do not use excessive strength to carry out the first few cuts.
SAFETY RULES ABOUT THE KICKBACK EFFECT
The kickback can be produced when the bar (12) upper part touches an object, or when the wood gets locked
or crushed while cutting. Hold the tool firmly, in order to avoid or reduce the kickback effect. The knowledge
and the prevention of any kickback eliminate the 'surprise factor' and reduce, therefore, accident possibili-
ties. Check that the cutting area is free from obstacles.
