15 Design and Function
This chapter provides you with important safety notices on the design and function of the
device.

Complete overview
A
Seal only For sealing the bag
without vacuum.

Indicator lamp (for seal) For
indicate the seal process.
C
Cancel (Stop) For switch off the
vacuuming and sealing action whenever
the operator wants to stop the operation.

Indicator lamp (for vacuum) For indicate the vacuum process.
E
Vacuum/Seal Draws air out of the bag and automatically change operation to seal
the bag after vacuum is completed.
F
Cover-lock To lock the cover. On the left side and right side of the cover there is a
key-press.
G
Cover-unlock Press to unlock the cover.
If you open the cover, you see the
Sealing bar: Contains a heating wire covered with teflon which allows the bag to seal but
not to stick to the strip.
Warning
The sealing bar gets very hot.
Please observe the following safety notice in order not to burn yourself or others.
► To avoid getting burned, never touch the sealing bar directly after sealing process.
► Do not remove the Teflon tape (T).

The rating plate with the connection and performance data can be founded on the back of
the device.
