Whipping cream and egg whites
ATTENTION!
■
Do not exceed speed level 5 when the stirring attachment is mounted to prevent the
stirring adapter from being damaged.
•
To whip cream and egg whites, fi t the stirring adapter on the cross-blade adapter (see
section "Using the accessories properly", section "Stirring adapter (butterfl y)") and
follow the instructions in the section "Basic use of the device".
Steaming in the mixing container
ATTENTION!
■
The measuring cup must not be inserted in the lid opening when steaming.
Scalding hazard due to hot steam and hot condensation!
■
Please note that hot steam is emitted from the mixing bowl lid during heating.
■
When steaming, keep children away from the device and warn them about the steam
that is produced and the hot condensation.
Burn hazard!

Only remove the hot basket insert with the spatula or kitchen gloves.
You can gently steam smaller quantities of vegetables, side dishes (e.g. rice, potatoes)
or sensitive ingredients (e.g. fi sh balls) in the basket insert.
1. Connect the motor assembly as described in the section "Basic use of the device"
and make sure that the cross-blade adapter is correctly fi tted in the mixing bowl.
2. Fill the mixing bowl with at least 0.5 litres of water for a cooking time of 30 minutes. In
case of a prolonged cooking time, the required amount of water increases by 250 ml
for every 15 additional minutes. Do not, however, exceed 1200 ml so that the bas-
ket insert is not underwater! To enhance the fl avour of food, e.g. broth or a mixture
of water and wine can also be used instead of water.
8. Push the heat button and the device will start to work. Alternatively, you can switch
on the cross-blade adapter with the Speed rotary knob instead of the heat button.
9. Once the operating time has elapsed, switch the device off (fl ip the On/Off switch to
position 0) and pull the mains plug out of the socket.
10. Remove the mixing bowl from the motor assembly and carefully open it.

3. Place the basket insert in the mixing bowl and fl ip the han-
dle over.
4. Fill the basket insert with the desired food. Do not overfi ll
it!
5. Fit the lid on the mixing bowl without the measuring cup
and place it in the motor assembly.
6. Switch the motor assembly on.
7. Set the operating time and temperature, which the liquid in
the mixing bowl should be heated to.
