Working with the device
The device can only be switched on when the mixing bowl is properly seated in
the motor assembly and the lid is locked.

automatically stop once the operating time has elapsed. The setting is performed
– in increments of 1 second for up to 1 minute,
– in increments of 30 seconds from 1 to 10 minutes,

The steamer unit consists of a steamer adapter, intermediate
panel and lid. It is suitable for gently cooking food with steam.
The steamer adapter is fi tted on the mixing bowl lid (without
the measuring cup!).

Use the steamer insert without intermediate panel to cook
a larger quantity of the same food.
•
Insert the intermediate panel in the steamer adapter to
cook a larger quantity of the same food and prevent it from
heaping (e.g. yeast dumplings) or to cook different foods
at the same time (e.g. vegetables and meat). Make sure
that the food with a longer cooking time is at the bottom
and food with a shorter cooking time is at the top.

Always place the lid on the steamer adapter.
22 P Pulse button: The speed of the cross-blade adapt-
er will increase to 12 (maximum speed) as long as
the pulse button is pushed. For reasons of safety,

this function disengages when the contents of
the mixing bowl reach a temperature of 60 °C or
more.

23 The heating control light will blink when the mixing
bowl heats up. Once the preset temperature has

been reached, it will be continuously illuminated.
24 Heating button: Push the button only if the content
of the mixing bowl is to be heated only (e.g. water

when steaming). The cross-blade adapter is deac-
tivated as a result. If no time has been preset, the
27
device heats up to no more than 120 °C (depending
on the boiling point of the food being cooked). Push
28
the button again to switch off the heating function.
