j) Break-in Instructions for the Engine
Attention! Positions (front, rear, right, left) always refer to the vehicles centre line in forward direction of motion!
a) Checking All Screw Connections and Wheel Nuts
Check before each use:
• All wheel nuts and screw connections must be tight.
• The servo control lever must fit tight on the servo shaft.
• Install the air filter.
• Check the tightness of hose connections and tank lid before each use.
• The cables must be installed properly.
Engine vibrations and shocks during drive operation can loosen parts and screw connections.
b) Removing and Replacing the Car Body
As a special feature, the body of this vehicle is attached to the chassis by magnets (instead of standard car body split-pins). This permits fast attachment and
detachment of the car body which may save important seconds in a race!
To remove the car body, grip it from below on the front and pull it off the magnet. Then proceed the same way with the rear.
To attach the body, just position it correctly. The car body snaps into place by itself due to the alignment of the magnets and metal plates on the vehicle and the
car body.
