Types of trouble and their solutions
Symptom
While char ging the batter y pack, no
indicator appears or the indicator
flashes in the display window .
You cannot char ge the batter y pack
installed to your camcor der.
The date or time indicator does not
appear , and the bars "– –:– –:– –"
appear.
Cause and/or Corrective Actions
• The AC power adaptor is disconnected.
c Connect it firmly. (p. 15)
• The battery pack is not installed properly.
c Install it properly. (p. 14)
• Something is wrong with the battery pack.
c Contact your Sony dealer or local authorised Sony service
facility.
• The POWER switch is not set to OFF (CHG).
c Set it to OFF (CHG).
• Set the date and time. (p. 21)
