Recording from video
You can record a tape from a VCR that has DV
outputs. Use your camcorder as a recorder.
Simply connect the i.LINK cable (DV connecting
cable) (optional) to DV IN/OUT and to DV
OUT of the DV products. With digital-to-digital
connection, video and audio signals are
transmitted in digital form for high-quality
editing.
You cannot take a picture in when you connect
your camcorder with other than the i.LINK cable
(DV connecting cable).
Before operation
Set DISPLAY to LCD in the menu settings (the
default setting is LCD). Only SP mode is
available.
(1) Insert a blank tape (or a tape you want to
record over) into your camcorder, and insert
the recorded tape into the VCR.
(2) Set the POWER switch to VCR on your
camcorder.
(3) Press z REC and the button on its right
simultaneously on your camcorder, then
immediately press X on your camcorder.
(4) Press N on the VCR to start playback.
The picture from a TV or VCR appears on the
screen.
(5) Press X on your camcorder at the scene where
you want to start recording from.

Opnemen van video
U kunt een cassette opnemen van een
videorecorder met DV-uitgangen. Gebruik uw
camcorder als recorder.
Sluit de i.LINK kabel (DV aansluitkabel) (los
verkrijgbaar) aan op DV IN/OUT en op DV
OUT van de DV apparatuur. Via deze volledig
digitale aansluiting worden de video- en
audiogegevens in digitale vorm doorgegeven
voor de beste montagekwaliteit.
U kunt geen beelden ontvangen wanneer u de
camcorder aansluit met een andere kabel dan de
i.LINK kabel (DV-kabel).
Voorbereiding
Zet DISPLAY in het instelmenu op LCD (de
standaardinstelling is LCD). Alleen de SP-stand
is beschikbaar.
(1) Plaats een blanco (of een voor opnemen
geschikte) videocassette in de camcorder, en
plaats de opgenomen videocassette in de
videorecorder.
(2) Zet de POWER schakelaar van uw camcorder
op VCR.
(3) Druk tegelijk op de z REC toets en op de
knop rechts ervan op uw camcorder, en druk
daarna direct op de X toets van uw
camcorder.
(4) Druk op N op de videorecorder om de
weergave te starten.
Het beeld van een TV of videorecorder
verschijnt op het scherm.
(5) Druk op de X toets van uw camcorder bij de
scène waar u wilt beginnen met opnemen.
