Adding coal or firewood

It may be necessary to add more charcoal and/or firewood
in order to keep the heat constant over an extended
period.
Always keep a pile of small logs at hand so that you can
add them to the fire basket at regular intervals.
Add the wood using a long-handled barbecue tong and/or
oven gloves.

Ash

Once the fuel has burnt through and is completely
extinguished and the ceramic stones have cooled down,
the inside of the grill can be cleaned with an oven brush.
Do not remove the ashes until the fuel has fully burned
and extinguished and the grill has cooled down.
Never tip hot coal or ash in an area that may be accessed
inadvertently or where there is a fire risk.
Do not remove the ash or coal until they have cooled down
completely. Do not clear away the grill until the ash or
coal has completely extinguished.
Care instructions for the stainless
steel grill plate
The grill plate and fat drainage tray are made from high-
quality stainless steel. To maintain the appearance of the
grill plate, clean it after every use with a mild detergent
and warm soapy water, and then wipe it dry with a soft
cloth.
Fatty residues may need to be removed with a scouring
pad. The high temperatures generated by the grill may
cause the grill plate to change colour. This is normal and
does not constitute a reason for a warranty claim.
