If the battery pack fails to charge, check:
whether there is voltage at the socket outlet
whether there is good contact at the charging
contacts
If the battery pack still fails to charge, send
the charging unit
and the battery pack
to our customer service center.
To ensure that items are properly packaged
and delivered when you send them to us,
please contact our customer service or the
point of sale at which the equipment was
purchased.
When shipping or disposing of batteries and
cordless tools, always ensure that they are
packed individually in plastic bags to prevent
short circuits and fi res.
To ensure that the battery pack provides long ser-
vice, you should take care to recharge it promptly.
You must recharge the battery pack when you
notice that the performance of the device drops.
Never allow the battery pack to become fully di-
scharged. This will cause it to develop a defect.
5.6 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 4/7)
You can read off the battery charge level from the
battery itself (Fig. 7) as well as from the cordless
garden pump (Fig. 4).
The battery charge level can be shown on the
cordless garden pump separately for each bat-
tery.
Press the button for the battery capacity indicator
(Item A). The battery capacity indicator (Item B)
shows the charge status of the battery using 3
LEDs.
All 3 LEDs are lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) are lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED fl ashes:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs blink:
The battery temperature is too low. Remove the
battery from the equipment, keep it at room tem-
perature for one day. If the fault reoccurs, this me-
ans that the rechargeable battery has undergone

exhaustive discharge and is defective. Remove
the battery from the equipment. Never use or
charge a defective battery.
6. Operation
6.1 Using for the fi rst time
Install the equipment on a solid and level
surface.
All the shut-off devices in the discharge line
(spray nozzle, valves etc.) must be fully ope-
ned during intake in order to permit all air to
escape from the intake line.
The priming process starts automatically after
you have pressed the ON/RESET button (Fig.
4/Item C1). - the priming process can last for
up to 5 minutes.
If the pump is removed after use, it is
essential that it is filled with water again the
next time it is connected and started.
Switch the pump off again after use by pressing
the ON/RESET button again (Fig. 4/Item C1) and
allow the pump to cool.
The pump is suitable for temporary use in auto-
matic mode. If the pump switches off in automatic
mode, a little stand-by current will be needed
nevertheless for the monitoring function. This will
result in discharging of the battery in use. Switch
off the pump after use.
Rule of thumb: In stand-by mode the pump uses
approx. 1 Ah of the battery's capacity within 12.5
hours.
6.2 Pump setting switch (Fig. 4)
When you start the pump by means of the ON/
RESET button (Fig. 4/Item C1), the cordless
domestic water system will automatically enter
BOOST mode. With the pump setting switch
(Fig. 4/Item D1) you can alternate between
BOOST mode and ECO mode as indicated on
the LED display (Fig. 4 / Item D2).
Important!
Selecting BOOST mode will increase the maxi-
mum delivery pressure and the maximum delivery
rate, but it will also reduce the maximum opera-
ting time.
