If you want to use the equipment in bodies of wa-
ter with a natural, muddy bottom, place the equip-
ment in a slightly elevated position, e.g. on bricks.
The equipment is not designed for continuous
operation, e.g. as a circulating pump in a pond. In
this case the equipment's anticipated life will be
greatly shortened because the equipment was
not designed for continuous loading.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-
bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-
ries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
The water might be contaminated by escaping
lubricating oil/lubricant.

5. Before starting the equipment
Before you connect the tool to the power supply
make sure that the data on the rating plate is the
same as the mains data.
5.1 Installation
The equipment can be installed either:
•
Stationary with a rigid pipe line
or
Anl_GE_DP_7535_N_LL_ECO_Flutset_SPK13.indb 16
Anl_GE_DP_7535_N_LL_ECO_Flutset_SPK13.indb 16
GB
•
Stationary with a flexible hose line
Note:
Before you use the pump, clarify any possible
special conditions which need to be fulfi lled for
the installation!
For example, additional safety measures might be
needed if damage to property could result from a
power failure, soiling or a defective gasket.
Examples of such safety measures: Pumps run-
ning in parallel on a separately protected power
circuit, moisture sensors for switching off the
pumps, and similar safety arrangements.
Be sure to consult a professional plumber if you
have any doubt.
The equipment must be fastened to the suspensi-
on eyelet with a rope (Fig. 2/Item 6).
The maximum pumping rate can be achieved only
with the largest possible line diameter; if smaller
hoses or pipes are connected, the pumping rate
will be reduced. Therefore, when the universal
hose connection (Fig. 1/Item 1) is in use it should
be shortened (see Fig. 3) to the connection that
is actually being used in order not to reduce the
pumping rate unnecessarily. Flexible hoses must
be fastened to the universal hose connection with
a hose clip (not included in the scope of supply).
The non-return valve (Fig. 3/Item 7) prevents the
water in the hose fl owing back when the pump is
switched off . Using the non-return valve reduces
the maximum delivery rate.
Fast connector (Fig. 1/3 / Item 2)
To disconnect the discharge hose easily and
quickly from the pump you must press the release
button (Fig. 3/Item A).
Connection with quick-release coupling (Fig.
3b/3c)
To quickly and easily connect the pump to the
woven hose, the threaded quick-release coupling
(10) must be fi t onto the hose connection (9).
Turn the coupling clockwise to attach the woven
hose (11) to the pump using the quick-release
coupling. Now check that all the screw connec-
tions are properly fastened (see Fig. 3c). To dis-
connect the woven hose from the pump, turn the
quick-release coupling counter-clockwise.
