• In a location that does not receive direct exposure to sunlight and not next to a heat source.
• In a location with less than 30 mm/second peak vibrations and no electronic noise.
• In a location with less than 22 degrees of ship movement.
• With sufficient clearance around the instrument to make connections, open the door and do
maintenance tasks.
• Upright and level on a flat, vertical surface or metal rails.
• As close to the sample source as possible to decrease analysis delay.
• Near an open drain.

3.3 Attach the instrument to a wall
Personal injury hazard. Make sure that the wall mounting is able to hold 4 times the
weight of the equipment.
Personal injury hazard. Instruments or components are heavy. Use assistance to install
or move.
Lift the instrument with the door closed and locked. Do not lift the instrument by the door
or mounted components. The mounted components can break and cause damage to the
instrument and personal injury.
Use the four mounting brackets on the rear of the cabinet and eight M8 (or equivalent) metal bolts
and nuts to attach the instrument to a wall or metal rails. Refer to
Use the two eye hooks on top of the cabinet to lift the cabinet as necessary.
