After end of use
7.1 Points to note at the end of use
If the KERDI-BOARD-NLT niche is not to be used any further, it must be disconnected from
the voltage supply under all circumstances.
1. Unplug the mains plug of the power supply.
> The power supply is no longer supplied with mains voltage and all connected com-
ponents are permanently free of voltage.
7.2 Removing system components
If the KERDI-BOARD-NLT niche is to be removed, we recommend leaving the system profiles
in an installed state. If the LED tubes are to be replaced, there are various Schlüter
available for selection to this end. Note the following points in relation to removal:
•
Cable bushings (e.g. sealing collar) must be sealed again after removal.
•
The power supply and Bluetooth receiver must remain installed on a permanent basis.
7.3 Disposal

Danger to life due to disassembly in the presence of
electrical voltage!
If system components and, specifically, the power supply are disassem-
bled while they are energised, this can result in life-threatening electric
shocks.
– First unplug the mains plug of the power supply, then disassemble it.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The system components of the KERDI-BOARD-NLT niche contain valua-
ble raw materials, some of which must not be allowed to enter the environ-
ment unprocessed.
– Never dispose of system components in household waste.
– Always take account of local disposal regulations. Arrange for disposal
to be carried out by specialist companies.
– With regard to disposal of the battery of the radio remote control, ob-
serve the instructions in the technical data ( » "Technical data for the
battery" on page 81).
