1. Insert the cover into the feed-through socket and pull it forward to the stop.
2. Position the mounting profile at the desired installation depth.
3. Place the marking at the front of the cable opening on the cover.
4. Separate the cover of the feed-through socket at the separation point closest to the
marking.
> The cover of the feed-through socket is separated at the intended point. If both parts
are inserted into the feed-through socket, a gap may be created between the parts.
In this regard, the gap is created where the cable opening is to be located in the
mounting profile.
5. Cut the opening for the feed-through cable into the KERDI-Band.
6. Feed the feed-through cable through the opening in the KERDI-Band.
7. Stick the KERDI-Band onto the separated feed-through socket in such a way that the
opening that was cut is close to the gap.
> The feed-through socket with the separate halves of the cover is sealed by the
KERDI-Band with an opening for the cable. The bonded KERDI-Band prevents the
penetration of tile adhesive.

After the niche has been durably connected to the mounting plate, the mounting profiles can
be tiled and the LED tube can be connected. The cover of the feed-through socket can be
separated. This allows the mounting profile to be tiled at different depths. In this regard, it is
important that the cable opening in the mounting profile always allows access to the feed-
through socket. The RGB+W LED tubes must be shortened so that they end at the tile back-
splash for the side walls of the niche. In doing so, ensure that the LED tube is not shortened
by more than 10 mm at one end. Prior to final insertion of the LED tube, it is advisable to test
its function.
NOTE
It is imperative to ensure that the tile and adhesive do not become more
than 10 mm. If the thickness is greater, the cut-to-length LED tube itself
cannot be fully inserted.
