LIPROTEC-P Operating Instructions
2.3 Residual risks
The following residual risks exist in relation to using the LED system:
DANGER!
Danger to life due to electric shocks!
The power supply operates with 230 V mains voltage on the input side.
Contact with live parts can cause fatal electric shocks.
– Never open the power supply.
– Never cut through the mains cable or remove it from the power supply.
– Only use the power supply included in the delivery or a power supply
listed in these operating instructions.
– Only connect the system components listed in these instructions to the
power supply.
– Work on permanently or temporarily live components (e.g. power sock-
et) must only be carried out by qualified electricians who are authorised
to perform such work at the place of use.
WARNING!
Danger to life due to overtemperature or moisture at
the power supply!
If the power supply is exposed to temperatures in excess of 45 °C or to
humidity, malfunctions may cause fatal electric shocks.
– Never store or use the power supply at temperatures in excess of 45 °C.
– Only install and use the power supply in accordance with the applica-
ble local regulations.
– Never expose the power supply to direct moisture penetration (e.g.
splash water).
– Only dry clean the system components.
– Never operate the LED system under water or in rooms with a continu-
ous humidity level of > 80%.
WARNING!
Danger of death and injury for children and infants!
Some system components are so small that children can swallow them
and choke on them. Children can strangle themselves on the attached
cables. If children swallow the special adhesive or the battery of the radio
remote control, this may result in poisoning.
– Keep all system components of the LED system out of reach of chil-
dren and infants.
