1.4 Electrical installation (power socket)
The power socket must be installed by a qualified electrician who is authorised to do so at
the place of use. Do not carry out unauthorised work on components under mains voltage!
1.5 Explanation of symbols
The following symbols with the following meanings (described below) are used in these op-
erating instructions:

Danger to life due to working with mains voltage!
The LED system is intended for connection to a power socket. Mains volt-
age poses a danger to life. If inadequately qualified persons work on com-
ponents under mains voltage, this can result in fatal electric shocks.
– Only use the LED system if there is a fully installed power socket avail-
able.
– Never carry out unauthorised work on components under mains voltage.
– Prior to installing the LED system, it is imperative to ensure that there
is access to a power socket. This power socket must be connected in
accordance with the state of the art (switchable if necessary).
DANGER!
This combination of symbol and signal word indicates an immediately dan-
gerous situation due to electric current. Failure to observe an instruction
marked in this way will result in serious or fatal injury.
WARNING!
This combination of symbol and signal word indicates a potentially danger-
ous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
