The COM port to be used can be found in
the Windows Control Panel (in the Device
Manager, under "COM & LPT"). Usually, it
is "COM3".
If in doubt, try, e.g. COM1 to COM4. If the
wrong COM port is selected, you will later
get an error message.
• To start a new data recording, click "SAVE". Select a directory to save the files in. Enter
a file name, e.g. "Test 1" and save it. The file is stored as "Test1.c8f".
Click "start" to display the main software window for capacity, voltage, current and
temperature curves.
After starting a charge/discharge process through the operating panel of the "B6 Ulti-
mate", the respective curves are displayed in the software. For multi-cell LiPo batteries
with connected balancer plug, the separate cell voltages are also displayed.
In the upper are of the software display window, you can use "Overview" and "Detail
View" to switch between an overview of all measured values and a detail window. The
detail window has several buttons on the right. Use them to view, e.g. the voltage values.
Click "Exit" to terminate the software. The data recording is ended and stored.
• To view a present data recording, click "OPEN" after starting the software. Now you can
select the desired file (e.g. "Test1.c8f").
Click "read". Then the measured values are displayed graphically.
As for recoding of files, the upper are of the software display window again has "Over-

detail window. The detail window has several buttons on the right. Use them to view, e.g.
the voltage values.
Exit the software by clicking the "Exit" button.
