The RS485 cable contains eight wires of different colour. Cut off the outer sheath to expose the wires,
then straighten the end of every wire and order them as shown below.

The connection between crystal connectors and RS485 wires corresponds one-to-one, one pin of a
crystal connector matches one specific coloured wire, as shown in the following table.

Insert the eight wires to the corresponding slots of a crystal connector; then use a professional tool to
press them together.

Repeat the procedures no. 2, 3 and 4 to connect the other end of the RS485 cable to a crystal connector.

The inverter connects with the PMU through the RS485 cable . Connecting the PMU with your PC through
Ethernet or USB enables the communication between the inverter and the PC.
