3.3.2. Motor
The motor consists of a stator and the motor shaft with
the rotor set. The lead for supplying power is designed for
the maximum mechanical power in accordance with the
characteristic curve or data plate of the pump. The shaft
bearings are robust, maintenance-free and permanently
greased roller bearings.

3.3.3. Monitoring systems
Direction of rotation control
No check is necessary for 1ph motors, since these always
run in the correct direction of rotation.
Warning of rotating blade wheel.
Do not touch the rotating blade wheel or reach
through the discharge outlet into the pump chamber!
During operation, never reach into the pump cham-
ber or touch rotating parts. Before maintenance or
repair work, shut the machine off and let the rotating
parts come to a standstill.
Motor cooling
Adequate motor cooling is provided, even in slurp
operation, by the cooling jacket with pressure connection
on top.
HPS 1 Pump control
The HPS 1 electronic pump control installed at the
pressure connection of the pump with the designation
HCE switches the pump on and off automatically, depend-
ing on pressure and water flow. Integrated dry-running
protection switches the pump off automatically in the
event of lack of water, and consequently prevents
damage due to overheating.
