7.3 Securing the frame padding
The frame padding (8) ensures safety and protects users from the springs (13). The assembly must be carefully and
firmly executed to avoid injuries while jumping and/or falling. Proceed as follows.
1. Place the frame padding (8) on the jump mat (7) so that the springs (13) and frame poles (1) are covered.
Note
The recesses in the frame padding (8) must be placed over the connectors (6).
2. Secure the frame padding (8) to the edge of the base frame with the straps (8a).
3. Secure the frame padding (8) with the straps (8b) to two eyelets (7a) of the jump mat (7).
7.4 Installing the safety net
The safety net (11) is fastened to the connected net poles (3 and 4) by a ring. The ring consists of the ring poles (9)
and connectors (10) that are joined together and threaded into the safety net (11).
Proceed as follows:
1. Spread out the safety net (11) on the jump mat (7).
Note
The entrance opening of the safety net (11) must not be located over a base foot.
2. Place a connector (10) on one end of a ring pole (9).
Note
The slot in the connector (10) must be facing upwards and the screw holes of the ring poles (9) and connectors (10)
must be aligned.
3. Screw the connector (10) to the ring pole (9) with a screw (15) and a nut (16).
Note
Self-locking nuts (16) are used for the assembly. These are suitable for one-time use only and must be replaced after
being removed.
4. Repeat this step five times.
5. Guide the ring poles (9) through the top openings in the safety net (11) with the connectors (10) first.
WARNING!
Always guide a ring pole (9) through the openings of the safety net (11) with the connector (10) first. Otherwise the
sharp-edged ends of the ring pole (9) may damage the safety net (11).
