7.2 Installing the jump mat
The jump mat (7) is pulled taut with 42 springs (13). The order of insertion is important for ensuring even distribution
of forces. Following the proper order makes assembly easier and safer. Proceed as follows:
1. Spread out the jump mat (7) inside the circle of the base frame. Make sure that the marking on the jump mat (7)
is facing upwards.
WARNING!
Take care when attaching the springs (13)! The springs (13) are under tension when attached! There is a risk of
injury!
WARNING!
The jump mat (7) has 42 eyelets (7a), and there are 42 holes around the top of the base frame. Take care when
inserting the springs (13) and follow the instructions below precisely so that the jump mat (7) is set up properly.
Otherwise there is a risk of injury!
2. Select any point as point 0 for inserting the first spring (13).
3. Hook the almost-closed end of the spring (13) into an eyelet (7a) of the jump mat (7).
WARNING!
Always use the spring pull T-hook (12) when attaching the springs (13).
Make sure that the springs (13) are fully inserted into the holes in the base frame. Otherwise there is a risk of injury!
Note
The springs (13) are different at each end. The almost-closed end is hooked into an eyelet (7a) of the jump mat (7).
The open end is hooked into a hole in the base frame.
4. Pull firmly and hook the open end of the spring (13) into a hole in the base frame.
5. Count 14 eyelets (7a) along and insert the second spring (13) into the 14th eyelet (7a) and frame hole.
6. Count another 14 eyelets (7a) along and insert another spring (13) into the 28th eyelet (7a) and frame hole
(counting from point 0).
7. Counting from point 0 again, insert a spring (13) into the 7th eyelet (7a) and frame hole.
8. Count another 14 eyelets (7a) along and insert another spring (13).
9. Insert the remaining springs (13) into the remaining eyelets (7a) and holes in any order. If you have missed an
eyelet (7a) or hole, check which spring (13) has been incorrectly attached and reattach it in the correct position.
