9.3.3.1 Replacing the insulating rope
When replacing the insulating rope, please proceed as follows:
Ø
Remove the door (see section 9.3.4)
Ø
Remove the rope and sealant.
Ø
Apply a new layer of high temperature resistant sealant in the edge in which the rope must be placed.
Ø
Place the rope. Make sure that the rope is not placed under tension; this would reduce the sealing function
considerably.
Ø
Insert the two ends of the rope in the sleeve.
The rope, sleeve and heat-resistant sealant are available from your supplier.
Make sure the sleeve is placed at the bottom side of the glass pane.
!Caution
9.3.3.2 Adjusting the closing mechanism
When adjusting the door handle, please proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 5):
Ø
Loosen the 2 hexagon nuts of the pin by a few turns.
Ø
Adjust the pin.
Ø
Tighten the 2 hexagon nuts.
Ø
Test the seal of the door by means of the paper test described in section 9.4.
Ø
Repeat these actions when the sealing is still insufficient.
9.3.4 Disassembly of the door
Observe the following steps for disassembling the door from the appliance (see appendix 2, fig. 3):
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Lift the door until it cannot go any further.
Ø
Tilt the door slightly forwards, so that the top hinge comes loose from the hinge pin.
Ø
Lower the door, so that the lower hinge pin comes loose from the door.
Ø
The door is now free from the appliance.
Place the door on a flat and preferably soft surface.
!Tip
9.3.5 Assembly of the door
Follow the following steps for assembling the door in the appliance (see appendix 2, fig. 3):
When mounting the door, please proceed as follows:
Ø
Slightly tilt the top side of the door towards you
Ø
Position the hole in the lower hinge point of the door under the lower hinge pin of the appliance.
Ø
Lift the door, so that the lower pin falls into the hole of the hinge point. Lift the door until it cannot go upwards
any further.
Ø
Position the hole in the top hinge point over the top hinge pin and lower the door carefully.
• Do not over-tighten the bolts, as they could break or the thread could be stripped.
!Caution
• Place the glass pane (including the new glass pane seal) with the logo at the bottom right.
9.3.6 Disassembly and assembly of the glass pane
Follow the next steps for disassembling the glass pane from the door (see appendix 2, fig. 4):

Unscrew the nuts from the strips.
Ø
Remove the strips.
Ø
Remove the glass pane and glass pane seal.
• When replacing the glass pane, always replace the glass pane seal.
!Tip
• Check the insulating rope of the door and replace it if necessary (see section 9.5).
Ø
Mounting the glass pane takes place in reverse order
