9.1.4 Replacing the temperature switch
Replace the temperature switch if, in spite of regular maintenance, it does not work or performs poorly.
(See appendix 2, fig. 15)

Proceed as follows:
Ø
Isolate the appliance from its supply voltage.
Ø
Open the door and remove it (see section 9.3.3).
Ø
Remove the two self-tapping screws from the cover of the temperature switch (see appendix 2, fig. 15).
Ø
Remove the temperature switch from the holder by sliding it upwards in an upright position.
Ø
Disassemble the connector from the temperature switch.
Ø
Follow the above-mentioned steps in reverse order for placing back the (new) temperature switch.
9.1.5 Malfunction
Check the following if the fans are not functioning properly:
• That there is voltage on the wall socket;
• That the adapter is connected properly;
• Check the outgoing voltage of the adapter (6 - 12V direct current);
• Bypass the temperature switch and check the operation of the fans;
• Check the voltage on the fan(s)
Depending on the results of the above checks, the adapter, temperature switch and/or fans must be replaced.
Replacement parts are available via your supplier.
9.2 Outdoor air connection, convection connection and air slide
9.2.1 Outdoor air connection
It is possible to provide the fire with an outdoor air connection. This outdoor air connection can be supplied as an
optional (outdoor air) set via your supplier.
This appliance is only suitable for an outdoor air connection via the bottom side. Although the outdoor air set has

the components for a rear connection, it cannot be used for this appliance.
When making an outdoor air connection on the bottom side, proceed as follows (see appendix 2, fig. 9):
Ø
Place the appliance on its back, so that the bottom side of the appliance becomes accessible.
Ø
Remove the bottom plate by unscrewing the 4 self-tapping screws (appendix 2, fig. 9).
Ø
Tap the break-out plate out of the bottom plate by means of a hammer, for instance.
Ø
Remove the guard cover from the air slide by loosening the 4 self-tapping screws.
Ø
Take the small tray and pipe nozzle from the outdoor air set and attach them to one another by means of the
provided self-tapping screws.
Ø
Place the tray with nozzle over the bottom of the air slide. Fasten it with the 4 self-tapping screws.
Ø
Place the bottom plate. Fasten it with the 4 self-tapping screws.
Ø
Connect the flexible hose (Ø 80 mm) to the pipe nozzle of the outdoor air connection.
Ø
Components that were not used must be disposed of in accordance with regulations.

Only perform maintenance at an appliance that has fully cooled down.
Replace the temperature switch only with an original one. It is available via your supplier.
