PRECAUTIONS

Do not use water to control flares or extinguish charcoal.
•
Covering the boiler with aluminum foil obstructs the airflow. Instead, use a drip-
ping pan to absorb the roasting fat of the meat when grilling with the indirect
method.

Grill brushes should be checked regularly for loose wires and excessive wear.
Replace the brush if you find loose wires on the grill grill or on the brush. YA-
KINIKU® recommends buying a new stainless steel grill brush at the beginning
of each spring.

IMPORTANT
Do not remove the grey felt wrap from the edge of the base or lid. This gasket pro-
vides sealing.
Oil the hinges and bolts of the metal tires regularly with a light machine oil (or WD-
40). The bolts should be checked regularly and, if necessary, tightened.
