7.2 Using the Dahl Docking Systems (Mark II (#501750) &
Variodock (#503600))
7.2.1 Mid Wheel Drive, Front Wheel Drive and Rear Wheel Drive
Bases with Sedeo Pro & UP. Excluding Q700 M HD.
CAUTION!
The installation should only be performed by a qualified
technician. Read all instructions carefully before
proceeding with the installation.
To install Docking Plate use Dahl Adaption Kit #503439 for MWD,
#503637 for RWD and #501889 for FWD model.
1. Fit the 8 mm spacer (B) onto the lock plate (A) (Fig. 7.6).
2. Use more spacers to achieve desired thickness with regards
to, for instance, user weight and tyre pressure (Fig. 7.7).
Additional spacers can be mounted under the locking station.
To align the height of the lock plate under wheelchair with
the Mark II docking station fit spacers between the docking
station and the vehicle floor to raise the docking station. The
Dahl Variodock is power height adjustable indicating, thus
additional spacers are not needed to align the height.
For MWD Base only the 2 x 8mm spacers are allowed to be
installed. No additional spacers are allowed to be added.
3. Put the five screws through the lock plate, the mandatory 8
mm spacer and the selected optional spacers (grey in picture)
(Fig. 7.8).
WARNING!
Do not use any other screws than those supplied from Dahl
engineering (Part #502800 (M8) or Part # 500782 (M10). Both
of which are high quality steel). Standard screws will not be
strong enough in the event of a collision.
CAUTION!

Fitting the stiffener plate
Required tools:
• Torx bit T27 (for MWD and RWD Bases)
• Torx bit T25 (for FWD Base)
• Torque wrench (16-18Nm)
• Angle grinder
• Marker
