Diana II
General maintenance and use
Check the Diana II before each use to make sure it is not damaged in any way.
Do not use the Diana II if there are signs of wear and tear or damage on any
part of the lift.
This lift may only be used by qualified
personnel.
The Diana II may only be used on an
even, clean and hard-floored surfaces
that are free of obstacles. The lift
should never be used on a sloping
floor or ramp.
In certain circumstances, more than
one caregiver may be necessary to
assist a particular client.
The client's abilities should be assessed
before using this product. Only use
this product for its intended use.
The Diana II is designed to support
only one client at a time. Never use
the lift to lift a client and an item of
furniture at the same time.
Only use other Human Care products
with the Diana II.

This lift is for indoor use only. It is
not suitable for use in areas with a
high humidity (e.g. shower rooms,
hydrotherapy), extreme temperature
or high pressure environments.
A specialist must approve use of the
lift for a specific client and this must
be recorded in writing.
Before using the lift for a client, it is
strongly recommended to practice
using the lift with colleague-caregivers,
until the caregiver feels comfortable
using the product.
The correct type, size, material and
design of accessories must be carefully
selected by an expert, taking into
account the safety and needs of the
client.
Always charge batteries in a well-
ventilated room. Check the charger
regularly.
