Photo-electric cell
Clean the photoelectric cell as often
as required but at least once a year.
Clean the lens with a cotton swab,
possibly dampened with a little water
or alcohol. See the diagram for the
correct photo cell position.
Fuel filter
Your heater contains one fuel filter in the
fuel tank.
You should clean or replace the filter at
least twice per season and more often, if
necessary. Using dirty fuel or diesel fuel
may necessitate immediate cleaning
and/or replacement. Rinse the filter with
clean fuel to clean them.
Adjusting pressure on compressor pump
In order to alter the pressure on the
compressor pump (on a working
heater), use a screwdriver to adjust
the pressure regulator (see diagram).
Clockwise = higher pressure; anti-
clockwise = lower pressure.
To achieve the best result, measure
with a full tank. The pressure is best if
the cone (flame deflector) is cherry
red and no flames are directed
outwards.
