materials such as building materials, wood, paper, curtains, etc. Always ensure there is
sufficient safe space around the heater.
Keep children and inexperienced persons out of the vicinity of the workplace: all visitors
must be kept at a safe distance from the heater.
Prevent unexpected starting: check that the switch is OFF before you insert the plug into
the socket.
Stay alert: always be aware of what you are doing and use your common sense. Do not use
or operate the heater if you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or
medicines that impact upon your response times.
Make sure that you remove the plug from the socket: always remove the plug when the
heater is not being used, before you carry out maintenance or replenish fuel.
Store the heater safely when it is not in use: keep it in a dry, locked cupboard, out of the
reach of children. Empty the fuel.
Use the heater for its intended purpose only. Do not make any changes or connect
anything to it. If you are not sure of whether the heater can be used, contact your supplier
or the importer.
Only have your heater repaired by a qualified person: the heater fulfils safety
requirements. That is why repairs must only be carried out by a suitable, qualified
individual, using original parts. Deviations from this regulation will invalidate the
guarantee and the supplier and manufacturer will no longer be liable for any
consequences.

Every time you use it, check that the heater is in good condition and is working
properly. Have damaged parts repaired or replaced immediately. Never use a damaged
heater.
Only connect the heater to a socket which corresponds to the voltage and frequency
that is stated on the heater's specification plate. Only use an earthed, 3-pin socket. If
you have to use an extension cable, make sure it is 3-wire and of the appropriate
thickness!
Only use paraffin or diesel of a good quality in your heater, in accordance with the
instructions in this booklet. NEVER use fuel such as petrol, benzene, used oil, naphtha,
alcohol, turpentine, thinner, paint thinners or other oil compounds or flammable
liquids in the heater. This may lead to a risk of explosion.
Always position the heater on a flat, stable and horizontal surface. Stellen Sie den

use on a wooden or any other flammable surface. If necessary, place inflammable
material which is at least 26 mm thick under the heater. This must extend one metre

wood, plastic, paper, tent cloth, etc. and the back and upper sides at least 2,5 meters
from this type of material. Stow tent cloth/plastic etc. or ensure there is additional
distance between this type of material and the heater (see distances indicated).
