Moving the joystick directly right or left will select both right outriggers respectively both
left outriggers. If joystick (1) stands in neutral position, all outriggers are selected and can
be operated simultaneously, up or down, using joystick (2).
The LED (16) show the status of the outrigger (LED blinking = the outrigger is between
transport and work position, LED on – the outrigger is in work position.
Platform levelling – When the toggle switch for the platform levelling/rotator (7) is
activated, the platform may be levelled or tilted for cleaning or rescue by moving joystick
(1) in the desired direction. The function is only enabled as long as toggle switch (7) is
kept activated.
If joystick (1) is moved sideways, the platform will rotate from the centerline of the lift.
This presumes that the lift is furnished with the optional platform rotator.
Engine Start/Stop – Start and stop of the engine of the vehicle is done with toggle switch
8 / 9 in the upper control panel. The PTO or belt drive and the ignition circuit of the vehicle
must be enabled and the parking brake must be set before it is possible to start the engine
from the upper controls.
Start of engine from upper controls
Press the toggle switch up (8) for engine start and hold it until the engine starts. Release
the push button and allow it to revert to neutral position.
Stop of engine from upper controls
Press the toggle switch down (9) for engine stop. This will disconnect the ignition circuit
and bring the engine to an immediate stop. It is not necessary to keep the button down
until the engine stops.
DANGER: THE VEHICLE TRANSMISSION MUST BE IN NEUTRAL OR
EMERGENCY POWER UNIT – The emergency power unit provides hydraulic power in
case the primary power source fails. The unit is consists of a hydraulic pump driven by a
DC electrical motor. The unit is activated with a pushbutton in the control panel. If it is
running when the emergency power unit is activated, the main pump will automatically
shut down.
Activation of the emergency power unit: Press the toggle switch for the unit up (10)
and keep it up while joysticks and other lift control devices are operated normally. The
emergency power unit only runs while a lift function is active.
The emergency power unit should not be run for more than 30 seconds at a time. The
controller automatically shuts the unit down after approx. 35 seconds. It is possible to
restart the emergency power unit immediately but a cooling off period is recommened.
Continuous use will drain the battery of the vehicle and may cause damage to the DC
motor (overheating).

STARTING THE ENGINE WHILE THE TRANSMISSION IS IN
GEAR WILL CAUSE MOVEMENT, WHICH MAY CAUSE DEATH
OR SERIOUS INJURY TO THE OPERATOR IN THE LIFT OR
