Press the On/Off switch (7). The cordless lamp is
at the lowest brightness setting.
Switching off :
Press the On/Off switch (7) again.
6.2 Adjusting the brightness (Fig. 5)
There are three brightness levels to adapt to
diverse situations.
The cordless lamp always switches on at the
lowest brightness level.
To increase brightness, press the brightness
selector (8).
The brightness increases one level each time
you press the selector.
The current brightness setting is shown by
the indicator (9).

6.3 Adjusting the lamp position

a) The lamp can be adjusted vertically to any
position (approx. 300° possible) by turning the
lamp head (Fig. 1 / Item 1).
b) The lamp can be adjusted horizontally to any
position (approx. 290° possible) by turning the
lamp head holder (Fig. 1 / Item 3).
6.4 Fastening the cordless lamp (Fig. 6)
The cordless lamp is fastened with the rotating
clamping part (Item 6).
It has two diff erently shaped surfaces. The sur-
face with the semicircular recess is suitable in
particular for pipes (min. Ø20 mm) while the other
is for fl at surfaces (e.g. table tops). To fasten,
press the clamping lever (Item 4) downwards,
move e.g. the table top between the clamping part
(Item 6) and the clamping surface (Fig. 1 / Item
5a), and release the clamping lever again. Clam-
ping is also possible between the clamping lever
and the clamping surface.
Caution! Always check for secure clamping.
7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the battery pack before starting
any cleaning work.
7.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low

pressure.
We recommend that you clean the device
immediately each time you have finished
using it.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
7.2 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.
The light bulbs in the lamp cannot be changed.
When the light bulb has reached the end of its
service life, the entire lamp must be replaced.

8. Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to pre-
vent it from being damaged in transit. The raw
materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
be taken to a suitable collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council offi ces.
9. Storage
Remove the rechargeable battery/batteries. Store
the equipment and accessories in a dark and dry
place at above freezing temperature. The ideal
storage temperature is between 5 and 30 °C.
Store the electric tool in its original packaging. If
the appliance is to be stored unused for a long
period, the batteries are removed.
