Use a Bluetooth connection to connect the robot
lawn mower with your smart phone and follow the
steps shown there.
Instructions concerning the Bluetooth con-
nection:
•
Connect to the robot lawn mower in the Ein-
hell App after you have logged in as user and
registered the unit.
•
In the case of Android units you must get
approval of the location for the Einhell App in
order to use the Bluetooth connection.
•
Connect the robot lawn mower only through
the Einhell App on your smart-phone.
•
Use the Einhell app to establish a connection
to the robot lawn mower.
•
The range of a Bluetooth connection is limi-
ted. This means you must stay close to the
robot lawn mower to control it.
•
The robot lawn mower can be connected to
only one smartphone at a time.
•
Disconnect the Bluetooth connection once
you have made all the settings on the robot
lawn mower.
In the Einhell Connect app, you have the option
of choosing a wide range of settings for your ro-
bot lawn mower, provided it is connected to the
WLAN. You may choose the following settings:
•
Time schedule
This menu item enables you to define the
working time window of your robot lawn mo-
wer. Up to 5 different time windows can be
defined per day. It is generally recommended
to base the mowing time setting on 8 hours
per day for 500m
2
king time must be adapted to take account of
the garden's size and complexity.
•
Zone
In gardens that have a lot of angles, the robot
lawn mower may have problems reaching
every part of the lawn and completely mowing
all of it. In this case you can select several
starting points on the perimeter wire and
their proportional frequency (18). To do this,
connect your smartphone to the robot lawn

of lawn. The selected wor-

mower by Bluetooth. This will enable the robot
lawn mower to get to even those parts of your
garden that are difficult to reach. The robot
lawn mower will run the selected distance
along the perimeter wire (18) and then start
mowing in this part of the garden (Fig. 6m).
After choosing this menu item, the mower will
begin to run along the perimeter wire. Now
you can define the starting point. Before the
process is completed, you can define the fre-
quency of the starting point.
•
Edge mowing
For a tidy lawn edge, the "Edge mowing"
setting can be activated. You can also set the
edge mowing frequency, i.e. the interval at
which you want the edge of the lawn to be
mowed at the beginning of the working win-
dow, before mowing the rest of the lawn.
•
Rain sensor
The rain sensor (5) can be programmed using
this setting. The default factory setting for the
sensor is "On". You can activate or deactivate
the rain sensor (5) and set its delay time. The
delay time defines how long the robot lawn
mower continues to remain in the charging
station (19) after the rain sensor (5) has dried.
•
PIN code
You can replace the default PIN for the robot
lawn mower with your own choice of PIN.
First, enter the old PIN and then confirm your
personal PIN twice. IMPORTANT! Remember
and make a note of your new PIN.
•
Software version
The current version of the robot lawn mower
software is noted here.
•
Child lock
Here you can define the period of time after
which the mower will be automatically locked.
After that, no further actions can be taken
until the PIN is entered again. In this case, the
PIN will always be required first, except when
pressing the STOP button.
•
Spot mowing
It might happen that your robot lawn mower
fails to mow some spots sufficiently. Place the
robot lawn mower on the spot in question and
start the mower. The robot lawn mower will
begin to mow the lawn in a spiral pattern until
it collides with an obstacle or the perimeter
wire (18). Provided no work window is active,
the robot lawn mower will then return to the
charging station (19).
•
To the charging station
This makes the robot lawn mower stop mo-
wing and return to the charging station
