smoothly.
Visually check that the feed roller (27) and
the discharge roller (28) run uniformly (see
Fig. 17).
6. Assembly
6.1 Rubber feet (Fig. 2, 3)
Secure the four rubber feet (11) to the bottom
side of the equipment using the socket head
screws (37) and washers (36). Do this with the
hex key 6mm (62).
6.2 Planing knife cover (Fig. 2-4)
Plug the sleeve (48) on the threaded bolt (47).
Guide the planing knife cover (12) with the
openings in the swing arm (45) over the two
threaded bolts (46, 47).
Secure the swing arm (45) to the threaded
bolt (46) using the washer (51) and the self-
locking nut (52). Do this with the open-ended
spanner (63).
Also attach the swing arm (45) to the threa-
ded bolt (47) using the washer (51), spring
washer (53) and the locking knob (49).
6.3 Parallel stop (Fig. 2-5)
Warning! The cover plate (43) must be fitted
between the planing table (14) and the holder
(42) of the parallel stop.
Place the cover plate (43) and the holder
(42) on the planing table (14). Ensure that the
holes in the cover plate (43) and the holder
(42) match the threaded holes in the planing
table (14).
Screw the cover plate (43) and the holder
(42) to the planing table (14) using the hexa-
gon socket screws (44). Do this with the hex
key 5mm (61).
6.4 Crank handle (Fig. 6)
Place the crank handle (4) on the spindle (55) to
be able to adjust the thickness opening.
6.5 Storing the loose parts (Fig. 7)
When not in use, the push stick (3) and the set-
ting gauges (15) can both be fastened as shown
in Fig. 7.

7. Operation
Warning! Pull out the power plug before perfor-
ming any maintenance, cleaning and adjusting
work.

7.1 Surfacing settings

7.1.1 Fitting the extraction for surfacing
(Fig. 1, 2e, 8)
Turn the hand crank (4) counter-clockwise to
move the thicknessing table (20) to its lowest
position.
Remove the wing nut (34) and the washer
(33) from the grub screw (32) on the chip
extractor (5).
Guide the chip extractor (5) on the thicknes-
sing table (20).
Ensure that the grub screw (32) and the two
pins on the chip extractor (5) are in the holes
in the thicknessing table (20).
Attach the extraction adapter Ø 100mm (8) to
the connection for a chip extractor (5).
Turn the crank handle (4) clockwise until the
chip extractor (5) is firmly secure and the re-
cess (17) is on the safety switch (16).
Important! The safety switch engages audib-
ly with a click.
Attach the washer (33) and wing nut (34) from
the underside of the thicknessing table (20) to
the grub screw (32).
To dismantle, proceed in reverse order.
Connect the plane to a chip extraction system
(not supplied).
Remove the crank handle (4) from the ma-
chine.
7.1.2 Setting the surfacing cutting depth
(Fig. 9)
The setting knob (9) can be used to set the
height difference from the feed table (13) to
the planing table (14) and thus the surfacing
depth.
Turn the setting knob (9) counter-clockwise to
increase the surfacing depth.
The set surfacing depth can be read off the
scale (18) using the pointer (19).
7.1.3 Parallel stop (Fig. 10)
Loosen the angle of the parallel stop (6) with
the clamp lever (7).
Tilt the parallel stop (6) to the desired angle to
the planing table (14).
