Never use old or dirty gasoline or an oil-gasoline mixture.
Prevent dirt or water from entering the tank.
Do not use petrol having a smaller octane number than 91
ROZ. This may lead to severe engine damages due to
increased engine temperatures.
If you frequently operate the product at high speeds, you
should use petrol with a higher octane number.
The use of unleaded petrol is recommended for
environmental protection reasons.
Sometimes a slight
knocking

sound) can be heard during operation with high strain. This is
no reason for concern.
If these sounds occur at a constant engine speed at normal
loads change the brand of gasoline. If the sounds persist,
consult an approved specialist dealer.
Operating the engine with permanent knocking or
ringing sounds may damage the engine.
Operating the engine with consistent knocking or
ringing sounds is considered not as intended.
Resulting damages are not covered by the
manufacturer warranty.
Storing fuel (gasoline)
Fuels have only a limited shelf-life, they are subject to
ageing. Outdated fuels and fuel mixtures may result in
starting problems. Therefore, store only that quantity of fuel
which you can use within a month.
Only store fuels in containers approved and identified for this.
Keep fuel containers in a dry and safe area.
Make sure that fuel containers are kept out of the reach for
children.
Fuelling of the device
Stop the engine and allow it to cool down.
Wear protective gloves.
Avoid eye and skin contact.
Strictly follow the instructions under "Safe
handling of fuels"
Only fuel the device outdoors or in sufficiently ventilated
rooms.
Never fuel in inside rooms and areas where gasoline
vapours may come into contact with fire or sparks.
Clean the area around the filler neck. Contamination in the
tank may result in malfunction.
Carefully open the tank cap (20) to allow possible
overpressure to relax.
Carefully fill the fuel up to the lower edge of the filler neck.
Avoid spilling of fuel or oil. Clean the device immediately
when you have spilled fuel or oil.
Make sure that no fuel can enter the soil.
Carefully close the tank cap after fuelling and check that it
does not get loose during operation.
Check that there is no leakage on the tank cap and fuel
lines. If there are leaks this product may not be started.
Clean the tank cap and the area around it.
Go away at least three metres from the fuelling
place to start the machine.

Engine oil
Use a high-grade oil (SAE 10W-30) with classification
higher.
Together with the recommended oil no other specific
additives are needed.
Do not mix the oil with gasoline.
Ambient temperature
The viscosities shown in the diagram can be used if the
average ambient temperature lies within the recommended
range. To prevent damage to the engine, user 10W30
instead of 15W40 during colder ambient temperatures.
Oil capacity: 0.08 l
Filling engine oil
Remove the oil filling plug (21).
Slowly pour oil into the hole.
Tighten the oil filling plug.
Wipe off oil residues/spilling.
Oil level checking
To check the oil level the engine must be positioned on a
level ground and must be switched off.
Remove the oil filling plug (21).
Wipe the oil off the dipstick.
Insert the oil filling plug again into the opening (do not
tighten)
Pull the oil filling plug out again.
Check the oil level on the dipstick.
MAX
MIN
The oil level must lie between MIN and MAX.
Operating the engine with the oil level too low may
damage it.
Start-up
Caution! Prior to starting the machine learn how to put
it out of action in emergency cases.
You may not start to operate the machine until you
have read these operating instructions, observed all
the instructions given and installed the machine as
described!
