Installing the alarm sensor
Fit the alarm sensor (optical probe) (1) in the retainer (2)
(violet colour coding).
Fix the optical probe on the backwater flap(s)
Depending on the model type, there are either one or two
optical probes for backwater detection included in the scope
of delivery.
These are fitted as follows:
Cable marking
none
yellow
Backwater flap probe
Fix the optical probe (1) on the backwater flap (a) and
optionally on the redundant valve (B), to do this:
Remove the sealing cap (2).
Use the screws of the sealing cap to fit the probe (without
yellow adapter).
Redundant valve probe
Fix the optical probe (1) on the backwater flap (a) and
optionally on the redundant valve (B), to do this:
Unscrew the screws of the sealing cap (2) and remove
the sealing cap.
Insert the yellow adapter (3).
Use the sealing cap screws to fit the probe.
Compressor set for air bubbling
If special installation conditions prevail, a compressor set for air bubbling should be fitted.
