Ventilation pipe
For exposed installation, make sure that the preassembled vent valve incl. activated carbon filter (1) is screwed on tightly.
For use in the chamber, dismantle the vent valve and route the ventilation hose above the backwater level.
Connecting the ventilation pipe
To ensure the function in all use cases in the chamber in the
event of flooding, the ventilation pipe must be routed at least
15 cm above the backwater level.
The ventilation pipe must be laid so that it does not hinder
access for maintenance purposes or the other pipe connec-
tions (pressure pipe/cable conduit).
Unscrew the vent valve (1) from the pump unit (2).
Fix the ventilation pipe onto the connection (3) of the vent
valve (1/2 inch thread)
Make sure the seal between the ventilation pipe and the
drain body fits properly.

Installing the cable conduit
Route the cable conduit (DN70) up to the cable gland (1)
(DN50) in the drain body and fit.
Use max. 45° bends for changes in direction.
If the cable conduit is to be installed in the upper section,
it must be carried out with the KESSEL hole saw art. no.
500101 or a standard hole saw Ø 60 mmand the pipe
penetration seal art. no. 850114.
The connection of the electric cables is explained in the
