installation versions
6.4.1 installing additional sensor protection pipes
With the SBP 700, further sensor protection pipes can be installed.
For this installation, proceed as follows:
f Observe the markings on the top and bottom of the cylinder
f
casing.
f Saw with a hole cutter at the required marking on the
f
cylinder casing (recommended hole cutter Ø 70 mm).
f Drill carefully through the cylinder casing into the thermal
f
insulation. The drilling depth is limited by the extent to which
the connector penetrates the insulation.
f Remove the remaining insulation from around the connector.
f
f Undo the cap and fit the sensor protection pipe.
f
6.4.2 installing the Bgc immersion heater
The immersion heater is used for electric booster heating.
- With the SBP 200 | 400 the immersion heater can be mounted
on the r.h. or l.h. side.
- One or two immersion heaters can be mounted with the
SBP 700.
f Remove the cap from the connector.
f
f Undo the vent plug with an SW 32 socket spanner.

Commissioning must only be carried out by a heating contractor.
f Fill and vent the appliance.
f
f Check the functions of the special accessories in accordance
f
with the operating and installation instructions supplied with
them.
f Check the function of the on-site safety valve.
f
7.2
decommissioning
If the heating system is not in operation and the installation
location is not protected against frost, drain the appliance and
connected system. This is relevant where there is a risk of frost.
8.
maintenance
No special maintenance is required for the appliance. A regular
visual check is sufficient.
